What to Expect on Your First Visit

When you arrive for your first visit, Dr. David will take this opportunity to really listen to you … find out about your personal health concerns and interests.  Once a good working rapport has been established, “Dr. David” will likely observe you standing, sitting, moving, and walking.  Then, (with your permission, of course) he will examine (palpate) you and perform any tests or challenges to gather the information he needs to determine what is going on, if he can help you, and what next steps are appropriate in your unique situation.

At that point, Dr. David will review and explain his findings, answer any questions you may have, and make his recommendations.  together you will decide if and how to proceed in a way that makes sense and feels good to both of you.

Treatment may or may not begin on the first visit.

Probably not.  However, if there has been recent significant physical trauma, or if in his clinical judgment, Dr. David believes they are appropriate in your situation, he will let you know, and make a specific referral for you.
